There are a lot of interesting works that I have seen in the exhibition and I listed out some of my favourite. This is a simple but functional homage to the inevitable end of analogue radio. This piece is 0.7 mm copper sheet acid etched into a working AM radio receiver. What I liked about this work is that despite it being under a graphic design project the artist created something new and functional with regard to its technological efficacy. The name of this work is "AM Forever". The creator of the piece must have done a lot of research into radio, such as what is inside of the machine and how do those parts work together to make it work. It had been displayed in a frame like a “poster”. Overall, I found the piece to have very strong visual communication.

This work called "Imitate/ Repeat" is adapting Karel Martens’ way of printing with found objects. An extensive image making process with a scanner was attempted initially, by imitating and repeating the previous process. First of all I think it is very interesting to look at, with the colours, repeating images and prints, it is full of imagination, it leads you to question the story behind it. The piece if visually pleasing but the printing skills are also intriguing.

This work is about an extinct language of Britain called Tic Tac. I quite like the lino printing then make them into booklets, the design and creation process was very clear and understandable.

After the other degree shows, I attended the Chelsea’s graphic degree show, which I found to be was nothing like CSM’s. The course is called graphic and communication design and their work had been printed onto the walls, as if like some very large sketch book pages, but it was very interesting to see.
