Yesterday, I went to Hayward gallery to see 'The New Decor', it's an exhibition that features sculptures and installation. The works are done by reconfiguring and reinventing the familiar objects of domestic life such as chairs, tables, beds, lighting, wallpaper and flooring, drawing out the social, historical and personals stories which are embedded in the everyday objects that surround us and posing questions about the physical, intellectual and psychological relationships between objects, the spaces in which they are encountered, and ourselves. I think that is definitely an ultimate expression of interacting of the artists and their objects. The whole interior is very interesting to see.
